Brussels Sprout Slaw

Makes 4 servings | 75 calories per serving

Vegetarian, Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free

20 Brussels sprouts, shredded

10 basil leaves, chopped

1½ tbsp sesame oil

1 tbsp rice vinegar

2 tsp mirin

1½ tbsp tamari (soy sauce)

Toss all ingredients in a bowl together, and let marinade ½ hour before serving.

Notes: • This is a Japanese variation on the classic slaw idea. • Regular cabbage and/or red cabbage can be used or a combination of both.
